How it works
Four steps, then nothing. There is no history kept in the app and no archive to look back on.
The window opens
Once a day a single notification arrives: “The window is open.” One more when your room is ready — and only if you shared. Nothing else, ever: no reminders, no re-engagement, no streak warnings.
Look around, shoot
You cannot pick a photo from your gallery; it is taken in the moment with the in-app camera. If a prominent face is detected the upload is rejected; faces in the background are blurred on the device. You share what you see, not yourself.
Three to eight strangers
Your photo is matched with a random group built for geographic diversity. No name, no username, no profile picture, no follower count.
Then nothing
When the window closes every photo and group record from that day is permanently deleted. Nothing of yours stays, nothing of theirs either. Tomorrow starts from zero.
Not social media. Not for showing yourself off, collecting followers, or flirting.
Instagram and TikTok are built on permanence, comparison and performance. rn. measures none of it. What is left is a single feeling: I am not alone — somewhere in the world someone is living this same moment.
Six decisions, not up for debate
No faces
You shoot what you see, not yourself. For safety and for equality: no comparing looks.
Zero metrics
No likes, followers or comment counts. With nothing to measure there is no pressure to perform.
No identity
No name, no profile, no history. Nobody can be tracked down.
Fully ephemeral
Everything is deleted when the window closes. That removes the pressure to look good.
3–8 people
One person feels like dating, fifty feels like a feed. A small group holds the balance.
Global random
No acquaintances, no friend list. Only strangers, anywhere in the world.
Safety
Anonymous sharing between strangers is not something safety can be bolted onto later. These four controls are mandatory from day one.
Face detection
The rule rests on a technical face-detection check, not a user promise. If a prominent face is detected the upload is rejected automatically; distant faces are blurred.
Automatic moderation
Every photo passes moderation before the group sees it. The system is fail-closed: an uncertain frame is never published.
18+ required
An age declaration on first launch. No proof is asked for: proving it would mean collecting the identity we promise never to keep. There is no sign-up step. Repeatedly rejected devices are restricted automatically.
Permanent deletion
A scheduled job wipes every photo and record when the window closes. Violation records are the only exception.
